What does it do for the skin?
Olive oil has emollient properties: it helps soften the skin. In skincare formulas, it also helps retain moisture and leaves skin feeling smoother. You’ll find it listed among the ingredients as Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil.
A good cream, of course, depends on more than a single ingredient. The amount used, the combination of ingredients and the product’s purpose all matter. In our products, olive oil works alongside plant extracts, other oils and moisturising ingredients.
Why organic?
For us, choosing organic olive oil is about the source of the ingredient and how the olives are grown. The word “organic” alone doesn’t guarantee better results or mean that a product suits every skin type. It is part of the approach to ingredients behind the brand.
